Snow Globe Roleplay!
Escape from/Defeat/Convince/Scare The Wizard!!
Hello, i decided to make a roleplay as well, this one won't be that scary, i promise (hmm, i guess not)
It works as the other roleplays, you have a choice, this is an attempt for something more RPG like
You are a tiny human-like being, you wake up in something that seems to be a snow globe, with others, you observe an evil wizard that wanders around in his house, he mumbles for himself, he looks tired and it seems that he is about to take a rest... knowing of you and the ones of your kind he decides to start his first experiment on you, he casts a bright cloud in the snow globe and causes a little, however, for you a devastating blizzard, then he enchants the snow globe with traps, he goes to sleep, and he hopes you will all be frozen or killed by the traps next morning, for his next experiment to come. You know that you have to try and survive and escape the snow globe, Will the Blizzard get you ? Will you escape? Will you be courageous and face the wizard with all your might? You decide...
Snow Globe roleplay is a stat based RPG, it is an experiment of using stats in forums, i honestly saythat if you aren't up for complicated stuff that can derail and fail easily then don't join this, it is experimental.
I will post a few options, and i will post them when i have the time, if not eveyone of the ones who join will post their decision, i will wait. If everyone has posted and i will be there, then i won't hesitate, In short, take your time but decide when you can.
What do you need to do:
1. Provide your name
2.Select your pros and cons(3 of each)
3.Distribute your points into stats
4.Pick your attacking order prefference
1. Your Name
It is clear.
2. Pros and Cons of your character
This will affect your stats, and give you extra options to choose from, or disable you from some of them
ProsYou may only pick 4 - 4th is optional and doesn't modify stats
Strong(Atk+3) - Strenght allows you to do things which need high physical strenght, you get more options which include the use of physically difficult tasks
Intelligent(Spirit+2) - High Intelligence gives you good ideas, therefore, more strategical options.
Enduring(Def+3,Spd-1) - High endurance allows you to survive a little more
Swift(Spd+3,Def-1) - Being swift helps you to evade your enemies' hits and it also helps you to elude known traps
Crafty(Str,Def,Spd+1) - This allows you to do some things in a different way, making you ready for anything
Wise(Spirit+2) - You know the world around you, you know how things are
Healthy(HP+6,Def+2) - You are resistant to sickness, making you harder to be affected by things like poison, you regenerate your health.
Suave(Spirit+4,Spd+1) - You are beloved by people and you are a nice person, this gives you a chance to dazzle an opponent.
Fearless(Str,Def+1, Spirit+1) - Can also be Courageous - You appearently fear nothing, this makes you able to try some really scary and desperate options.
Calm(Spd-1,Def+2,Atk+1) - You fear to what might happen, but you hide it deep under your skin, and you think well under pressure.
Generous(Spirit+6) - You are helpful, and you do good deeds, you care about others more than of yourself, you can restore the Health of your friends if you are on the same location as them
Eager(Spd+2,Spirit+1)- even through someone is hated, you wonder what his or her plans are, you can get some options from that person. this helps you to get options from people who keep their ideas for themselves, you also tell the ideas to others so they can use the options, too
Suspicious(Def+2,Spd+2 Atk-1 - When a monster attacks you, you always strike first, and you might notice that some options are dangerous(they'll be orange or red), you can save other people's lives with this ability
Heroic(HP+4,Spirit+6,Atk,Def,Spd+1) - You are such a good comrade and you get in the way of your friend and a monster/trap and die instead of your friend, nobody shall ever forget you for your heroic deed(if you die)
ConsYou may only pick 3
Weak(Atk-2) - You are physically weak, you cannot do any hard physical tasks.
Stupid(Spirit-2) - You cannot think of much good ideas, so you need your friends to do it, You get less options while you are alone or with person with the same con.
Vulnerable(Def-2) - You get easily hurt
Slow(Spd-2) - The enemies can hit you more easily, you also cannot be faster than obvious traps(trap options are available but it's pathetic to do them)
Clumsy(Atk,Def,Spd-1) - Always when you think of a different way, you fail, you also get less chance to hurt your enemies
Naive(Spirit-2) - You don't know the world around you, and you believe into something that isn't right, the options might be a little more treacherous and pathetic for you, you can still go with others
Sick(HP-4,Def-2) - You bear a sickness with you since you were born, you are easily affected by poison and you randomly lose health over time
Immature(Spirit-6) - people often dislike you, and you cannot use their ideas for your survival
Fearful(Atk-2,Def-1) - you are worried, you want to cry, you want to call for help, this closes some risky options for you, you also don't help others in fight
Aggressive(Str+5,Def-5,Spd+4) - You are annoyed and highly mad of the situation, and you easily go berserk, your attack increases and you always attack 2 times in a row regardless to your speed, the options you get might include quick ideas of fighting and bashing stuff, you can't have the options of Calm,Intelligent and Wise ones.
Greedy(Atk,Def,Spd+2,Spirit-4 - You have a valuable set of skills and tactics, but you won't share them with anyone (If combined with a pro like Intelligent, others can't get the options from you)
Uninterested(Str,Def-1, Spd+2) - You don't care about other people's plans, and you don't get ANY extra options, only yours, you can't get healing from others because you don't care about them and you don't help in fights
Oblivious(Def,Spd-2) - you often get swallowed by your imagination and you don't notice a few things and you are unaware of the danger when it's not visible, monsters always attack you first and two times in a row
Treacherous(Atk+2,Def+2,Spirit-9) - You are so evil that you use your ally as a shield and let him or her die instead of you, when you do so, you get the "Immature" con if you don't have it.
Note: If you choose a pro and it's opposite con, it's your problem, they get neutralized and you just waste your point (the stats and special skills won't count)
3. Distribute your points
Everyone has 40 points to spend, spend them wisely
!!!YOUR BASIC STATS ARE DETERMINED BY YOUR PROS AND CONS!!!, when you create a character, just tell how you distributed your stats in the third part, i will add the Pros and Cons' (the ones you chose) modifications after you create the character, so don't lose your time with this.
Health - Adds 2 Max HP per point, the more you have, the longer you survive, if you have 0HP or less, you are unconcious, if you have -10HP, you are dead, Health is mostly used in fights, some events kill you instantly regardless on your health.
Attack - Determines the damage you deal to enemies, Your Attack minus enemy's defense is the damage you deal.
Defense - Determines how well you sustain damage dealt by your enemies, enemy's attack minus your defense is the damage you receive.
Speed - The faster you are, the more chance you have to evade your enemy's attack, if your speed is 2x greater than your enemy's, you do 2 blows in a row, and even more if it's more times larger, if it's 2x lower, then your enemy can hit you 2 times, Chance to hit depends on the rate of your and your enemy's speed.
Spirit - distribute points into this only if you have a pro that allows you to heal others/self or regenerate, otherwise it's useless for you, the more you have, the more you heal. (Spirit/2)
Last prefference
Last thing you need to provide is your monster attacking order prefference:
A - I rather attack the weaklings first
B - I rather attack the strong ones first
C - I attack anything that moves and is againts me regardless on it's abilities (random order)
Continuation to the opening story:
As the wizard is asleep, we have some time to escape, to be certain, we have only few hours....
...It is 10:00 PM, the wizard will wake up at 9:00 AM, every set of choices is 1 hour, The best of us will decide 11 times, 11 Chances to die, It's DO or DIE...
...As we walk a little, we notice that the snow globe is larger than we imagined (it takes a hour to walk through 1 of 9 parts of it)...
...the snow globe is divided into 9 locations, these locations are specified by their coordinates
A1,A2,A3
B1,B2,B3
C1,C2,C3
...A1 - there is a mountain, the blizzard seems to come from up there
...A2 - there is a cave
...A3 - there is a valley
...B1 - there is a snow forest
...B2 - there is a village, we start here, everyone
...B3 - there is a tower, we have no idea what is that for
...C1 - (Mysterious place, we have no idea what is there, Mist is what you can see from distance
...C2 - there is a frozen pond
...C3 - there are some treacherous cliffs and hills
Some things to assure:
-When you have a pro like Intelligent, the other people can use your options as well, i will add them to your choice list, if you have a con that disables you from taking other's options, you never get them, When you have intelligence pro, you will get more strategicall options, if you have strenght, you will get options which require advanced physical strenght, these and many more.
-Fighting is automatical, sometimes when you choose an option, you might encounter a monster, the battle is based on turns and it's really simple to count the damage, anyway, just leave it to me... you will see(if it can work)
-High HP doesn't save you from stepping out the wrong way, Mwhahaha!
-You can't fight againts other characters in this roleplay
-When there is a monster or monsters, the stats that oppose the monsters depend on the stats of all people on the spot, if someone is Fearful, Uninterested or such, his/her stats won't be counted in it
