Here are (my) top suggestions for improvement. They should drastically improve the game once implemented.
1) Increase the character limit for typing messages. 35 characters is usually enough if you're typing Japanese, but English words require many more.
2) Hotkey for typing. Pressing enter or return on your keyboard should have the same function as clicking the chat bar. It's a huge hassle having to click the chat bar before you type.
3) Hotkey for exiting windows. Not as important as typing hotkey, but still important. It would be nice to exit windows by pressing "esc." This makes things a lot faster, especially when you're synthesizing and you hear monsters hitting you and want to exit quickly.
4) Spelling errors. This might not be the #1 priority, but I'd like to see some things fixed. "Old Bracelet," for example, should be Gold Bracelet. All the gems should be in their singular form (Pearls -> Pearl, Rubies -> Ruby, Tourmalines -> Tourmaline)

Sorry for repeating ideas 2 and 3, but here's what I typed on the spur of the moment, and this looks like where I can post some thoughts:
The game seems to revolve around crafting items (and having a nice outfit). Yet I do not see any teasers as to what someone can do after that is accomplished, and the high-level monsters don't aggro (attack automatically), and the NPC which I did find (guarding the level 9 tower) is rather unresponsive (as oppose to Muruu, who I found was not an NPC). I'd like to see more GM-led events, such as "cleanse the tower", "collect the most of item ---", "double-dice regen week", or other random things like: - One dice roll per completing a dungeon. - Public Message when an Apprentice logs-in for the first time. - Forum Activity - Mentors (people who are online 24/7, to track-down and mentor new players) - Advertisement Banners (on other websites) - More accessible gameplay guide (maybe one enormous button on the registration-page) - A hotkey to switch between chat and the movement interface - A hotkey to close your inventory - Maybe Shift+MouseClick --> Put in Jar - Extra hotkeys (seriously, I will find a game where you can do 21 things with mouseclicks, and I will want a custom hotkey for each one (ok, maybe 25, but several of them already had hotkeys)) - Taunts? Like, bosses saying something (ok maybe not, since that's not pointful). - Circular Quests! Talk to an NPC who asks you to talk to an NPC who asks you to find something which is needed by another NPC who can help another NPC who can help the second NPC (once an item is obtained for the fourth NPC) so that the second NPC can now help you help the first NPC who gives you a unique (as in non-lootable) item for completing this quest. - NPC who can synthesis "special" items (and will have a really long dialogue leading up to the discovery that they can in fact synthesize items if given some item which is only received from completing the above quest) - Item above is needed for a second quest (or unlock a portal)? - Instead of having the above, if you aren't having more than 50 players on at a time, then the GM can act as the NPC, and 'host' the quest as an event... Except that you cannot trade with the GM. So the circular quest for gathering items in order to get a one-use key (to unlock a portal) might be neat.

Great feedback Lineage and Phenoca! There are several things that you guys point out that really make a lot of sense -- things like the hotkeys (eg, for Esc), longer chat capabilities. I also liked the idea about -- public message for newbies and -- mentors to help them out We have had actually lots of helpful folks in this community who have done exactly that (show newcomers the ropes). But your idea suggests that perhaps we can take this to the next level and 'assign' people roles to be "Mentors" to help people out at certain times. I'll get back to you guys on these points, in the meantime, what kinds of other ideas do you have as far as organizing a Mentor Team? Love to hear them. BD

@boomdizzle
About Mentors...my previous game has an Order of Mentors, who have a little "M" next to their name at all times. There is a public message going out every 15 minutes or so telling people to ask them any questions they have about the game. Also, Mentors do "shifts" at the newbie area - they stand around helping people get to know the game. Mentors get paid a certain amount per shift, depending on how well they did and how busy it was.
Just an idea, as other games I know of allow Mentors to adopt a newbie...and there's probably other ways of doing it too.
Cheers, Dark Gryphon

Instead of mentors... why not make a tutorial ?
And about the merchant guild.... people are overpricing their items...
I suggest the market should control the prices but the players can still sell stuff also or something like that...kok : D

And.. Ummm..
When there are big groups,The Circle CANT provide enough space for the players... so I suggest making it a LITTLE bit larger?

Don't want to create a new thread for suggestion, so i'll just post here. Is it possible to make the links at the sides of the flash game open in a new window? Because sometimes we still accidentally click on the links and navigate out of the page. I just did it recently. xD It's usually quite harmless but if someone's on low hp and is surrounded by ants/scorpions, it can be dangerous. Hope this suggestion helps
