This idea occurred to me when Romtu mentioned about buying/selling limestones in large quantities.
I remember playing Runescape 6 or 7 years ago and the developers had an NPC specifically for redeeming certificates for large amounts of resources.
In Puppet Guardian, the maximum quantity that a unique item can be held in the synthesis jar should be raised to 100. An NPC can sell blank certificates for 1 gold each. When a player "Uses" a certificate, he/she can assign quantities of 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 of one particular type of item. This can then be resold to the Merchant Guild so players who buy in bulk (i.e- limestones) can do so easily without spending large amounts of time taking things out of jar and putting them up for sale constantly.

This is a great idea.

1 gold per certificate is excessive.
Better idea: You can put as many items in the shop as you want, and you can move large quantities at once via the warehouse. So that the shop isn't just used for storage though, you have to pay the market fee to remove an item from the shop. With increased shop space, people sell a lot more of their stuff (more supply of buyable stuff = more gold purchased) and you have a lot less inane prices floating around the market.

I think we should be able to store as many bundles of 99 of the same item as we'd like within our synth jar. It's such a hassle reaching 99 of something then being forced to synth something asap or throwing it away. It should be our choice to keep however many bundles of the same item we'd like. For instance, someone making axes would have no use for limestones for the time being.. so they just all add up, eventually getting capped at 99 with no where else to go. Expanding the max number to 100 (or more ) wouldn't be a bad idea either. 99 fills up fast.

I like your idea too, Romtu. I suppose that would add an extra incentive towards paying for a warehouse. Taro, I like your suggestion too, but it won't solve the problem of buying/selling in bulk; It will just allow an individual to carry more him/herself. Also, I suggested expanding the maximum items carried to 100 because the number looks cleaner if one was to represent 100 items on a certificate. I guess quantities of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 99 would work also.
