In the japanese version, scratch card clothing and weapon sets can be bought with real money in a window of time (similar to a pet campaign). I personally, as well as many other players would like the opportunity to purchase them, as they are really hard to acquire, and the value has gone way up. There are only a few items scattered around the game, and I think that we should all have the opportunity to buy them instead of just winning them in events (these events only complicate the process with time zones, lag, gap of time playing, experience, etc.) I know that since we are international version, the opportunity to buy the scratch cards should be international too; I think this can be possible through paypal, as they have an international payment system (see more information here: www.paypal.com/worldwide/). Unlike the offers, everyone with a paypal account could buy them anyway they want! (Cash, Credit/Debit Card, Bank Account, etc.) and through paypal, it could be translated into their own currency. Everyone wins! Please consider doing this, because it is one of the big walls that sets our game behind from the japanese version. What are scratch card items?Scratch card items are special items that are not available to synthesize or acquire in the game itself. Which means that not everyone has them; they're special. The japanese version currently has 4 sets of scratch cards. See them here: [/a] [/ul]

That is indeed nice, however, i wouldn't even be able to buy them, it's impossible for me.
Guessing i'll have to grind many G in the game to ever obtain the Glimmer Ring i want...
Regards, Lilli.

It would be sold digitally, but nature of stracth cards are meant to be sold physically, so as international version, we have many players around world and shipping will always be a problem. So to prevent it stracth cards are not released on international version. The reason it works perfectly on Japanese version is it's only shipping within Japan, so that makes it easier for cold breath to control all those problems. However i'm sure Zorba can give a better explanation then me. Believe me this is really something as mods we aim, but these kinda problems make it hard for us. Even though, i repliied in this, i will let Zorba know about this, so he can give a more professional reply. Regards, Rivers~

Tinyy,
Are you referring to the c-check series? If so we are planning to release these in the future.
As far as selling Scratch Cards, we do not have any plans to sell them internationally. We have explored the idea and have learned that there are too many challenges.

Yeah, like Jrog said, there is no physical shipping happening whatsoever.
Also, isn't it the same case with gold? It's the exact same thing as buying gold or membership... I don't really understand the difference, and like I said before with paypal, everyone has the opportunity to have it translated to their currency (this is also/always been an option for buying gold/membership, so it's the same matter) and no shipping is happening.
Even if players cannot buy them, it's the same case with gold/membership once again, why have gold/membership if we can't have scratch items being sold?

Sorry, I didn't fully understand that you just wanted the items.
Yes. We could do something like that. It is certainly worth exploring. If we do it it will not be for another 6 months unfortunately. We are going to tackle C-check first. And we still have to improve our tournament release process. MR premium sub also...
The C-check items are like scratch card items and are available for purchase. They are a series of item releases. So far there have been two, with more on the way.
There is a lot going on, but we can maybe devise a scratch card item sales system after we finish these other things.

So far I've gotten the idea that scratch cards are not planned for the international PG because of payment and shipping issues, but we are still getting C-checks in the future? Will these C-checks ever include the silver card series like Sleepy Ocean, Nostalgic Fairy, Diamond Dust, etc etc?

Hi Lointaine! I'll begin by answering the question: "What are the C-Check Campaigns?" The C-Check campaigns are completely separate from the "silver card series" (those are known as "Scratch Cards"). C-Check is similar to a pet or furniture campaign in which items go on sale for a limited amount of time, but are sold for real money. In the japanese version players that want the C-Check items go to a convenience store such as 7-11 or circle K, and purchase gold from a "C-Check" machine. Depending on how many gold coins the player purchases at the machine, they will randomly receive X amount of items from the set being sold at that time. In translating the japanese information about C-Check, buying 100 gold coins will give you one random item, 200 gold coins for two random items, and so on. I believe the proposal Zorba planned on making (I can't speak for him of course) was that we would buy the gold coins online, and then just get items depending on how many gold coins we bought, similar to just having an online C-Check machine. But alas, the last time I talked to him about this was two years ago, and it seems this hasn't been touched on again. To answer your second question, "Will these C-Checks ever include the [scratch card] series'...?". No, they will not. The scratch cards are bought from a different company partnered with the Japanese version, called "World Treasure". World Treasure makes more than just the scratch cards, but also a lot of other Puppet Guardian merchandise; you see, the Scratch Card Series' that you're talking about are sold to the japanese players as literal playing cards that are shipped to them when ordered (kind of like Pokemon Cards). The japanese players probably somehow register them into their game, then equipping them to their character. Here are the links to both the current C-Check Campaign, and the World Treasure website (both of which are in japanese). If you have any more questions, just ask them here and I'll get back to you. I would also hope that Zorba will make a comment on the progress of this.

To clarify a bit the recent situation on the subject: as you know there have been steps undertaken to bring our version closer to our Jpn counterpart than ever (the MR Furniture quests and Events, soon followed by the new Towers openings etc etc).
The good news is the Japenese team recently agreed on working to introduce C-Check campaigns into our PG. We don't want to bring your hopes up too early, as this may still take time but the idea is to make the International version follow the same series of C-Check campaign items as Japanese PG. Once I hear any more details on how the situation proceeds, I will let you guys know.
As I said this may take time so we still ask for patience and understanding.
