Hihi! As the demand for a trading system increases, I decided to design one. Take a look! 1. Merchant Guild will change so that it has a "Trade Item" option. 2. You click "Trade Item" and this window shows up. I made it so that you can only trade with your friends to reduce spam requests, etc. 3. Once you select a friend, a request will be sent to them, and you will select an item to send to them: 4. You'll click on an item and it will look like this (in this case I clicked on paralyzing book): 5. MEANWHILE, your friend will get a request on their items tab that looks like this: 6. If they accept the request they too will choose an item (See step 4). Let's just say they chose Healing Book. 7. Once they do, this window appears where you can see the item they are proposing and you can possibly change your item: 8. If BOTH PARTIES click "Yes", you will receive this message: You will recieve your item and everyone is happy! Please take my idea into consideration!

Great system here Tinyy!! A trade system would really lessen the scam incidents.
My only feedback is that after the tradee presses the Yes button the trader would receive a notification to confirm the trade because the tradee could just press the Yes button without placing anything at all or just placing something as common as a Iron.

I don't agree with this.
Trading is not really suited for Puppet Guardian, if you want something, get it yourself, it's more fun. PG isn't like "Oooooh gimme this and i'll give you that." it's more like to get stronger on your own, you can buy items, if you have G. You can accumulate many items from towering, like wero does. ^ ^ You can ask your friends to go together with you, to make it a fun eperience, and i can imagine people spamming me with friend requests with the idea to make an offer, and also a bit people who i would have to delete because of trading requests, gross. ~ I'd have to delete many people, honestly.
As said above, this idea has a weak part where either if it wasn't friend list based, i'd probably find the closest window to jump. If it was, there would be requests from people who mainly wish to trade with you and nothing more. That is not really an act of friendship. I am already annoyed of unknown people requesting this, and imagine how many people would ask you before sending you a request. I don't even want to discuss about trading. I trade only when it truly is a way, as in, items which are limited(Zoa Aqua Dagger). And i'm fine with the MG way, because until now, i was the second to list an item, and i never got scammed. I still discourage trading, though.
The idea itself, isn't bad. But please note, that i'd hate to see more ways to annoy me with requests, when i don't really want to trade any of my items. Ever thought how rich you would be if you kept all your items which you found?
This seriously doesn't solve much, people still could scam lucky newbies with a bad trade offer. A failure in trade isn't a good scenario for PG, where items are more rare than in other games, in other games, trading for valuables makes more sense, but items like gems in PG are not obtained from hunting XXX mobs.. and so on, you get the items by collecting, and you get them rather slowly, especially valuable ones. It is set correctly, if you trade in PG via MG, it's your own mistake if it doesn't turn well. Honestly, in ENG as i see there are many traders than actual friends.
The value of items may differ between people, not only their set values, when i was still trading magic, i disliked the items i traded for, even when the trade was too good for me. Simply, what you keep is what stays with you for a long time, and you can get more and more items, there is no need to trade in PG. It has flaws.
Regards, Lilli.

Let's make a compromise. I am really serious about not being annoyed by requests, i don't want anyone to annoy me with a trade, so i came up with a way to completely eliminate the idea of request to start a trade out of nothing. Look at this, a very old image from the PG beta: Do you see? there is a label saying *SALE* 20G. What if trading between players worked like this? Like, you had to set the item for trading first, and THEN people could offer for it. 1. You'd click on an item card 2. You'd choose 'Trade Item' in the menu 3. You get asked: 'Are you sure you want to set this item for trading?' or along these lines. 4. Some mark/label appears on the card ---- 5. A player who wants the item clicks it, and chooses 'Trade' 6. Then, the player chooses an item to trade 7. he/she submits it 8. Then you get a request 9. And then the trade goes as you suggested. 10. Magic Bag windows pops up to get the traded item, this would make sense if the system allowed to deal with more than 1 for 1 item trade. It would be more convenient, for me. and I'd actually have to set the item for trade, this way would allow me to not get request spams for me to refuse. And..of course.... When placed to MG/Rucksack/Jar/Warehouse/Squire, the item loses the trading mode setting.
In MR there could appear a list of items the player trades, instead. because inventory doesn't appear there.
Regards, Lilli.

There was once a trading system in the early days of the JP version of PG. It was removed because players abused it by making multiple accounts and trading items to their main one. This way, the trading system just ensured that mulers would be able to transfer items safely across their accounts.

Yes, i was thinking it would be abused, but i didn't know there was such a system before. I don't really think we need a trading sytem, i said why. It is better to collect your items, or buy them.

like Lilli said, first, if someone keep sent u trading request that will be annoying second, trading do against part of PG's spirit, so I don't think they will release a trade system ('they' means Cold Breath, the company that run the japan version of PG) and...even if we discuss about this alot, and end up that we get a perfect version of trade system, still need to sent the idea to Cold Breath... what i mean is...its really hard well, but cant deny that I do trade a lot, also got many benefit from trading
