Day 1- Wondrous Gifts in the Sunny Morning
"If you want to talk with me or anything, you can stop by our house, the large building with a green roof." "Please, take a good care of yourself..."
I found myself stunned in silence as the woman walked away. The lingering scent of the baked goods permeated through the air. With rarely any chances to find food, I picked the plate up and allowed the scent to drift into my nose. I grabbed one and smelt it carefully, it didn't seem harmful in the least, but I threw it to the floor. Quickly a small rodent came and began to eat it. I watched as it swiftly engorged itself.
While in that moment I captured it within my cloak and waited, A good 10 minutes had past and the rodent was not yet dead. I carefully released him and watched him scurry away. I began to eat the cookies very quickly, leaving only 2 left and placing them within my belt. If the food was not poisoned, this woman must have been speaking the truth.
Through the hidden entrance to the harbor storage, I left into the morning daylight. Trying my best to navigate the narrow back alleys and remain unnoticed. With the Green Roofed house in sight I slowed my pace to a brisk walk. If only I knew why this woman had came now... My questions will be answered. I reached a window to the large green roofed building and peered through, seeing the woman.
Curiously I continued to the door, hoping to figure out this mysterious woman. I knocked silently at the door and waited for an answer...

Gunnleif's
Ron
The father went somewhere, but he returned just in time when the breakfast was ready. The mother Deana asks Ron about where is his sister. The father Felix doesn't know where she was headed either. He starts asking Ron about the book. The family decides to start eating without Carol.
Town Square
Carol
There are several people in the market area that can be seen just from the town square. A man wearing a beret appears next to a stand, putting some box behind it, that man is familiar, he wears different styles of clothes on each day, it's that dealer with the parts. He appears to be in a good mood, noticing Carol, he picks up the box and does a simple pointing gesture to signalize the parts are indeed there.
Ruley's
Ven
While waiting for something to happen, a familiar person enters the store. Ven recognizes the woman. It's the mother's friend, Sara Sith, she shops around here quite regularly, having a friendly chat with the mother. As she comes a bit closer, she greets Ven's mother, then greets Ven as well and starts complimenting on how nicely he's grown. She says that every time to him and his brother, no matter how regularly they meet. Seemingly, she seemed to talk with Ven's mother even more regularly when Ven and Hpesoj were much younger, as Sara's husband Thomas used to be a fencer, and he was on a journey that time, so Sara often brought children over to play and talk to get some emotional support while Emanuel minded the store. You're then watching your mother and her friend Sara talking. There's not much point in listening to them, so you begin to think what to do next. Whatever you decide to do, Sara Sith gives you a home-made snack (... whatever is your favorite, since she would know it). She then asks about Hpesoj, when hearing he's asleep she gives a snack for him to your mother. You're then ready to go. (Wherever you are going.)
Marren's (Outside)
Nelliel
For such a large house, it takes some time before the door opens. Behind the door is a young girl that cheerfully greets Nell who gets startled. "Hiya~! Have you came to play with me? ♪" Those eyes... are looking eagerly at Nell. . . . .

Day 1 - Morning
Ven Ruley
I waited... Quite a long time has passed now. I begin to stand until a familiar woman came from the door. I was surprised and taken aback. "Hello, Merci!" says the woman. "Ahh!" mother was also surprised because of the woman "Sara!" I quickly fell into a deep thought. Sara? Who is Sara? Then I remember Mrs. Sara Sith, my mother's friend. She comes here regularly, and haves a chat with my mother very often. "Hello Ven!" says Mrs. Sith, I return the greeting and then she starts complimenting me on how nice I have grown though she always says that to me and my brother every time we meet her. I remember my mother saying that Mrs. Sith talks with her even more regularly when me and Hpesoj were younger. Her husband used to be a fencer at that time and he's often in a journey so she often brought her children over to play and talk to get emotional support while father minded the store. As usual, a conversation started with mother and Mrs. Sith. I pay no attention to it as I'm thinking about what I'm going to write next in my notebook. Well, I'm almost always thinking about what I'm gonna write... My head suddenly hurts. I leave the thought for now. I look at moher and Mrs. Sith. They are still in a conversation. I don't want to interrupt but it's better than doing nothing here. I grab the arm of the chair and quickly stand up. "Mother, I'm going outside to take a walk." I say. "Oh! Ven! I almost forgot this." Mrs. Sith says as she gives me a small basket. I wonder what's inside... I take a look inside the basket and found cookies. These are the cookies that always made me happy. These are Mrs. Sith's homemade cookies. "Thank you Mrs. Sith!" I say happily. "You're welcome." says Mrs. Sith. I happily give a smile. I should probably eat them now but I just had breakfast and I should save it later for Hpesoj. He still haven't tasted her cookies yet. I run to the dining room and place the basket in a table. I go back to the shop. "Be careful Ven." says mother I open the door and felt a cool breeze of air touch my skin.
I see people running, and some merchants are in a rush. Many merchants are cleaning up their place. That's odd. Why are people in a hurry? Maybe--
BAM! A man bumped into me. I fell to the ground. "Oh! I'm so sorry." says the man as he helped me stand. "Umm, mister, why are you such in a hurry?" I ask. "A storm is coming, you better get back inside to your house, boy." says the man "I have to go now." he then quickly runs to a house and slammed the door. A storm? How come my mother doesn't know this? I better warn them. I run to the house and grab the doorknob. I quickly opened the door and found Mrs. Sith and mother are staring at me, probably confused. "There is a storm coming." I say to them. "Oh? Then I better go now. Goodbye Ven. Goodbye Merci." says Mrs. Sith.

--Ron Gunnlief-- Day 1 - Morning (Breakfast)
Sitting at the stone step, I had a clear view of the harbour. A large crowd of people were moving about, all busy with their work. I noticed that many ships were docked, obstructing the view of the ocean.
"A storm is coming. That's why"
"GAH! Why'd yo- w-wh-where did you come from?!"
"Hahaha! Silly son! I left home to run a quick errand. Smells like breakfast is ready. Let's get indoors before rains."
He read me like a book! Still, I found the answer to the busy harbour. Everyone was preparing for a storm. Father gave me a pat on the back before he went in. I patted the dust off my pants as I stood up and saw Mrs Marren pacing quickly towards her home. She waved to me with a smile and I waved back.
"Storm's coming, better stay indoors Ron!"
All the adults must have been informed about this impending weather disaster.
As I was walking to the dining table, mother handed me some cutlery.
"Place them as per usual dear. By the way, have you seen Carol?"
"Nope. She went out. I think."
"She did?"
No one in the family seemed to know where Carol went. I wonder where she could have gone to. Did she hear the news about the storm as well?
"Ron, did you know that the old fisher-"
"The old fisherman is opening a book store and he wishes to have his encyclopaedia of robots back?"
A clenched fist bumped my forehead. That was father's way of "punishing" his children. I think I deserved it for interrupting him. We talked a bit more and I found out that the old fisherman's new book store opens tomorrow. I really like the 'Gears of the Legendary Ancients' book. Within it's pages held some fantasy-esque blueprints of machinery. I could buy it from the old fisherman, then I could finish my reading!
The food was starting to turn cold. We decided to begin breakfast without Carol. Mother placed a food cover net over some foods to reserve them for Carol. I grabbed a sthingy, scooped a morsel of scrambled eggs and emptied them in my mouth.

Day one - morning (Market place) Carol Gunnleif
Seeing him point to the box I stopped trying to read and walk at the same time and instead focused on quickly closing the distance between us.
“Your outfit looks nice as always,” I said to him since flattery never hurt when it was true. If there was anyone going to invent new fashion it would more likely be this man then her family. Holding out my hand I waited to inspect the contents of the box to ensure that everything was in order out of habit rather than mistrust. The parts were placed with great care and had a feeling of love radiating from the craftsmanship.
“The agreed upon price for these parts then,” I said handing him a bag with the proper amount of money in it. Mostly it contained smaller currency useful for making change since it was easier for both of us if I paid in exact amounts. Exact amounts also kept him from trying to convince me to buy new clothes for my usual outfit. Even if he changed his look all the time it did not mean that I had too. While he counted it out of habit I turned my glance around the market seeing much hustle and bustle and some merchants closing up shop. Some nasty weather must be approaching for them to close store so early. “Do you mind if I stay here a bit?” I asked since my family would have started eating without me by now and the bad weather gave me an excuse to modify my schedule to allot more time away from the household.
“I have been reading a book about some gears would you know anything about it?” I asked sitting down on a chest of goods while shifting the box of parts to my lap so I might have a free hand to bring the book out. I may as well use this time to read farther into the contents since I lacked the tools to put the parts I purchased to use in the market.
