in Assassin can we use a regular or silver lance? You can use both regular 1st level lance made of Steel or Silver!

Thanks for the event, moderators! I'm pumped! But I thought I should express a concern: In the "Fastest Assassin" discipline, I am very concerned about the freedom to constantly change weapons during and in between battles. This allows freedom for players to watch others while they are participating, see what works, and they could easily change their own strategy to match a very successful one. For example, if I am waiting for my round to begin, and I see Nelliel win her round with a Long Sword, I might just want to use a Long Sword too, even though I thought I would've won with a Golden Axe. You see where this is a problem? I propose that in the "SIGN UP" forum, you have players also write what weapon/weapons they will be using so that you can regulate the amount of cheating, and complaints this forum will get after the event. Otherwise, good luck to everyone!

Wero can you change the track of the race? Because not everyone has the same internet speed and who has the fastest internet speed would win... Since when you go trough the tree and into the cave of trials that stays loading the game and the faster the internet the faster you load, the faster you load the faster you can get going.. Sorry Liam, but that's one of the factors that May or May not have effect one's overall achievement. Unfortunately, the internet speed is not something we can do much about. Our aim was to make the race long so that there's a lot of factors interplaying for each of the players, so it will make the race exciting, yet unpredictable.

So you cant like first take the time from the begining area to the tree, then from thee other side of the tree to the cave and add the time up?

Wero... Another thing I was thinking about... Could we try to reduce the lag by reducing the number of people? I mean... We could ask the people that are not participating to avoid staying there watching or moving along the race/assassin's disciplines, for example... I know it may be a silly suggestion, and idk if it would work anyway... Just an idea ^^

The people who wont run that minutei, will wait on starting point and one of the mod will run by the current players to make sure none cheating, as for lag, you can load areas before race and it can be easier. There is no way to calculate the time the lag for players, even there might be situations where players use lag as excuse even if they dont have, to change the results of the race.
As for weapon choise Tinyy, idk, if they share here, then other one reads, they can do their choise based on others choise too. If we ask them to send their pm to us about what they will use, players wont be able to know what sent to us and they "may" not trust about us on that. And its more about skills rather than weapon, if someone use long bow very good and if i pick it for assassin, will i be able to use it that good? Would u take that risk? Its more about ur skills rather than ur strategy, because u may have the perfect plan to kill those scarecrows, but then something happens to ur keyboard or something and plan doesnt work. Though we will still discuss about it.

Otherwise, good luck to everyone! I see no problem with that. Even before watching the game happening, through practice, one would definitely get to find out which weapon is the best. Even if everyone uses the same "best" weapon, you will all still be on different speeds due to skills/rhythm etc. It all comes down to who will finish it fastest. So I don't see any problem with that, neither do I consider changing weapons cheating.

However, the most important reason why we created an in-game event is to have fun with others; an incentive to gather many friends again. We wanted to make it a very social event to encourage players to spend time together so that we can share some memoirs and fun moments. It wouldn’t be nice to tell the cheering audience to log off. Lagging problem is not something we can take responsibility for as it depends mostly on player’s Internet speed. I think we could think of it as yet another factor that must be counted in the equation of one's chances to win.

Thanks Rivers and Blackmintz! After hearing what you have to say, I agree! Another issue that came up when I was testing different weapons was the use of War Hammer's quake effect. No matter what row you're in, you will end up hitting another's scarecrows. Just thought I should bring this to your attention, but I guess if someone accidentally attacks another's crows, it's their own problem, haha.

Hi Tinyy, I noted about this issue in the main post: we do not take responsibility in case something like this happen. Do choose your weapon considering its range. GL!
