Newbie Mark (and what it really means)

You know that little yellow-and-green mark next to a new player's name? Ever wondered what that was?

It's called a "wakaba" ("green leaf") mark and in Japan it goes on a new driver's car to warn other drivers. But it can also be used in other places to indicate someone/something is beginner level.

So if we play PG long enough will we eventually get an elderly driver mark?
