my haloween costume, and my main outfit is the Priest one, i am not going to look scary, you won't live to see that day. I am not competing in "be the weirdest, ugliest, and whatnot" Regards, Lilli Lilli, The contest doesn't require you to be scary, just something mismatched you can get out of your head to create. So your really not meant to be scary in this contest. The contest is not named the "weirdest, ugliest and whatnot", please do not change its name to a different one as Romtu thought hard of this contest and it is really his efforts that count.

Actually i dont care that only the rain ring out of the 4 rings is given as a prize at all. this means the ring is not UNIQUE and not only ONE person can own that ring.
The most issue i really concern is that the timing. frankly, i didnt attend the event last time in halloween because the event started at 7am in my country. i cant woke up at that time.
Romtu, i have a suggestion just for your reference. you may organize the event 2 times with different time. For example, 9am (in USA time; about 9pm in Asia) and 9pm (in USA time; about 9am in Asia). I think that can make sure most of the players can attend this event. one of the rules is that the same person can ONLY join the event at one time mentioned above. then you can select the winners involved in the participants so that everyone can have a chance to get a prize.
Hope you can take this suggestion. Thanks.

That is actually how I intended to run the next contest, except for allowing people to compete in both if they wanted. I'm still trying new things and seeing what people respond to and what draws in more people.

Rain Ring converts Sapphire magic into damage, this way is too easy, and impossible for people from eastern countries, maybe if they're sick, i suggest replacing the rain ring for some other magic ring, the emerald one should be good, as emerald, to me, is one of the least popular and i totally bet that the Rain Ring made it to this easy contest because Romtu listened too much to what people said about that they want the ring, well, there are 3 more great rings, the Rain one is the most valuable indeed, but why it gets included in the 2nd event ? Well i say that my curiosity on the Flame and Frost rings beats some Rain ring which i saw in videos, i dislike this.... other rings should be included too, if i was the one who chose, then it would be the Diamond one - Rain ring is simply too popular, don't listen to what people say too much, thank you... romtu - nobody is that silly to not choose it if there is the possibility, and i meant to replace it for a different one, not all 4 Regards, Lilli

I'm going to make a compromise on this event so that people who can't attend it can still participate. You can enter your costume in this thread as long as you get it in by midnight on the 7th (the same deadline as the screenshot contest). The same basic rules apply, tell me your puppet name, prize preference and put the pictures in the thread. You can post multiple pictures of your outfit so that the judges can get a better idea of what it looks like, but you can only post one outfit. Before the event on Wednesday, the judges will choose the best outfits from here. When the in-game outfits are judged, the best outfit there and the best outfit here will be compared, and the winner gets first choice from the prize list and the other person gets second choice. It would work like this:
1st place: 1st place from Forums 2nd place: 1st place from in-game 3rd place: 2nd place from forums 4th place: 2nd place from in-game etc.
If the best outfit was from in-game, then it would be the other way around. Does everyone understand what I'm saying?
The original post has been edited to reflect these changes.

I don't know if I should enter the contest in the forum. The problem is that if I show my wacky costume here, someone who have lots of in-game gold can work to make a better costume since the person have something to compare with.
Different from the snapshot contest, wich demands not only criativity, but you need to be able to perform a certain scene that it's hard to copy.
If I post my costume here and someone presents a very similar costume later, will I have advantage for having presented it first?

If someone presents the same lineup of costume with your entry, that entry will be ignored. But if its not entirely different, it is considered a valid post. For example, you have a puppet that wears the basilisk armor, skull mask and casquette. Then another player posts a puppet wearing basilisk armor, skull mask and witch hat. Then, his entry is valid because he's not entirely with the same clothes lineup as you have. Ofcourse, If you thought of a wacky costume, you may or may not post it away, but it is first come first serve for the combination of items.
