Friends , I am sure it will be easy for you ... considering I want to use a variable inside my puppet manifest , whats the syntax for that ? Here is an example of what I want ... $redis_version = 2.6.14 ... I am reading it from hiera .. what is the right syntax to put it in the following class ... as u can see I try it as a variable but it didnt work ... exec { "exec_wget": command => 'sudo wget redis.googlecode.com/files/redis-${redis_version}.tar.gz -P /opt/redis/'; path => "/usr/local/bin/:/usr/bin/:/bin/", }

Honestly...
Posting this stuff even without introducing yourself to us.
Who are you? Don't call us friends so easily. You gave no explanation what in exact this post is about. Is this even a question about the game itself?

Hi there, Looks like you posted to the wrong forum. This is for an online game called Puppet Guardian, not for the programming language. Try checking the community section of puppetlabs.com and posting to one of their mailing lists. (Also, it's generally good practice to first check the FAQs and search around in case your issue has already been discussed. In this case, you would have found out right away that you were in the wrong location. )
