I just got a Black-eyed Gauntlet (very cool, by the way) but it looks awkward with my coat. The sleeve of the coat goes on top of the gauntlet, but the gauntlet hangs off the sides since it's wider. The gauntlet should just go on top, since one would probably just tuck their jacket into the gauntlet anyway.
