Question about blue and red card items

Hi! I am new to the forums and I've been playing puppet guardian for a month now and recently started playing magical rooms. I know that these items are more valuable than the green card items because of their rarity and difficulty in obtaining/synthesizing. Now I was wondering if the blue/red card clothing has an advantage when equipped...like does it decrease the amount of damage taken (especially in magical rooms) or are they really just for aesthetics?
Are they better than the greed card clothing?

Hey again lol About clothing, there's not (usually) advantages when wearing red/blue cards items like hats, jackets, shirts, pants, shoes, acessories, they are most of the time just for aesthetics. But there are some silver card items that give advantages when wearing them, like Freja Helmet, Freja Armor, Earth Armor, they give resistance/weakness to damage of certain elements. Items that have effects are usually the ones that go on magic item spots, weapon spots and also cursed shields from chests or ones that can be synthesized or obtained from fight guild with small medals. And shoes give 1 movement speed, so walking wearing shoes should make your speed a little higher.

Now, with items from Gold Campaign, if you mutate into Phoenix, Colossus and others (with Phoenix Ring, Colossus Ring...), the silver card clothing specific for them may give you advantages if you have them equipped when you mutate on the specific one, like some elemental resistance and other effects.
