I am having trouble pricing my items on the market, I don't want to over price or under price my items but I have no idea at how much should I price them. And also a lot of items in the market are waaay tooo over priced. Since the game doesn't have a price range feature, maybe the community can make one, until it becomes a standard among the frequent forum visitors and then it turns into an unspoken rule to price the items at a certain range. I am new to the forums and been playing the game for a month, so I'm still learning the ropes of this game esp. on this kind of stuffs ;D
This is more of a suggestion, think we should make a list of suggested price range for the items...maybe not all the items, just some of them like upgraded weapons, gems, etc etc...
Also feel free to move or lock or delete this if you think it's in the wrong place or just unnecessary and plain stupid hehehe

Well, it seems nobody else cared to give an answer to this. I'm no expert, and the market is pretty much screwed up, imo. But the reason some items are way overpriced is because non-members use their market slots as a warehouse, so they put these insanely overpriced items to avoid actual buyers. Now, I think that a good way to price your items would be using Chest items as reference. There are many variables though. Some chest items are more valuable than others, for instance Aqua swords and daggers, since they are used for some quests or because the chest is not obtainable w/o membership (as for Lost Mythos chests). Taking this into consideration, you have to value how much any given buyer would be willing to spend vs. how much Gold would be required to get the same item by opening chests by themselves. So, even though the weapons may be worth more than the price to open one chest, say, 15G, it would be never bought if you put it up for 50G, since with so much gold the buyer could open 5 chests, and most probably get the weapon plus other items they might need, or most probably get another seller that would sell cheaper. Gem prices are somewhat standardized, ranging from 60 to 120G depending on rarity and demand. Another way I just made up for rare items dropped by monsters is to use dice as reference, where 1 dice = 0.02 G (the minimum). Let's say you wanna price Golden Claws. Then you use the approximate rate at which the Golden Claw is dropped by the Gryphon, that would be around 8%, meaning that you'll most likely get 1 Golden Claw each 12 kills, and the dice needed to reach the last spot of Stage 3, which would be around 12 dice. So, (12 x 0.02) x 12 = 2.88 Then you add a "demand" factor (this is somewhat arbitrary). For the Golden Claw, which is one of the most wanted items in the game, and that is also needed in bulk (e.g. you need 22 just to make the Phoenix Staff, which is in turn a quest item), and a "differential" rate for the chance variability (I'm no statistician, though, haha), meaning the number of additional dice you might use to get one, so, I'd say: (2.88 x 3) + (12 x 0.02 dice x 3) = 8.64 + 0.72 = 9.36 + 10% (Market Tax) = 10.30 G each Golden Claw Sounds right? ;D Sadly, things get a lot more complicated when the item in fact isn't in a spot that would be certainly hit, so maybe the amount of dice needed would be even higher, or if the monster is a drifter, like Fenrir or Garm. And.. I wouldn't even bother to try selling common items like rough materials (iron, copper, etc). That's all I got, lol
