Strange things happening with Magic Apprentice Hat

Only when I wear this item:

The title shows, but the hat is invisible so my corsage (previous hat) still shows.

If I click on another player then press the Items button, that player shows as my avatar in Items window.

Facial expression doesn't change when using emotes and AFK mode.

If I put the hat on whilst AFK then come out of AFK mode my face expression stays sleeping.

Some players cannot see me until I remove the hat.

It seems like this problem is affecting all the new items that are currently invisible. I just made the Magic Mentor Hat with the same results.

Yes, it's a new item made from 5x Magic Apprentice Hat. ^^
