Hello all, new here! Spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong with my screen.. No words appear except when chatting in the present, no chat history either. My friends button is also completely blank . Typing numbers when trying to buy/sell is impossible also. I'm currently using Firefox, although I've even tried with IE.. same issues. My Flash Player is up to date also. Just wondering if anyone out there knows how to fix this .

This is very unusual, Taro. Have you ever been able to see chat text in the game?

Nope, I've never seen any of the game text before . If it weren't for a screen shot I saw here, would've never known I was missing all the labels. Hmm..That's weird...maybe you should try reinstalling firefox...Don't know if it would work, but just for some experimenting..

Very weird. I've already tried reinstalling Flash also.. to no avail . It feels like there would be a switch or option to turn on the game text.. perhaps a specific display setting? I've had no other problems except this game for some reason >.>"

Taro:
We have sent this issue to the developers in Japan and the only thing they can come up with is that your computer's default fonts have been corrupted.
Can you change your default system or browser fonts to see if that makes a difference? Sorry but this is our best answer at the moment.

Oh wow, thanks for relaying my issue to the devs in Japan. I've been doing some research as well, maybe a missing 'dynamic font' package for Flash, but since it doesn't seem to repair with re-installation I'm uncertain.
May I ask what style font those labels are in? Or is there a similar page I could go to to test it out before I make changes?

I'll get the font style and post.

Taropie:
The developers say that you can chose your own font, and that you should maybe chose your flash fonts until you find one that works or isn't corrupt.

How/where might I go about choosing different Flash fonts? The following is my current Firefox font settings.. even though I uncheck 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts,' it doesn't seem to make a difference at all. Thanks for answering all my questions btw, really appreciate it .

Taropie:
It may be necessary to change your windows XP device font to check if that is the problem. We are looking into the best way to do that.
This is very mysterious indeed.

Taropie:
Our best guess is that at some point the fonts used in the friends window and the other places you can't see were removed or thrown away from your system.
Cold Breath does not designate the fonts for the game, Flash does automatically use device or system fonts. So we can't tell you which ones are missing from your system. Only that some are.
Sorry that we couldn't solve the problem for you.
