I voted disagree. I think that 6 dice/day is fine because this is a community-oriented game, and therefore dice should be shared. Too many dice might even encourage players to run towers solo, resulting in a different gaming atmosphere.

I could go for 8-10, but not really necessary. A leveling system like pets where players eventually get up to 8 or 9 dice a day would be awesome though.

Hi all, finally registered at the boards. I do think 6 dice per day is too low, and I think the one reason why people don't play more (or at least why I don't play more) is that no one has dice. I don't think giving a little more dice would mess up the team aspect because PG is a pretty social game. It's not as fun to do by yourself and fighting monsters is so much harder that way as well. The way the system is currently, it encourages players to create "mules" in order to get dice. I think groups of players are relying on mules to roll at least half the time.
I'm not saying we need dice falling from the sky, but I think six is too few.

I think 6 dice a day is fine already, but I have no problem w/it being raised. It is a team-oriented game, so sharing dice is no problem. The main thing about the dice is that are others willing to use their dice. True, that it's your own dice and you can do what you want with it, but if you're willing to use someone's elses dice, at least contribute too.

Really, the only problem I see is a lack of players on at times. When there are more players, there should be no problems with dice.

I agree with delilah. The current amount of dice just promotes people to create tons of mules. It'd do much more good to have them regen at a faster rate, maybe 15-20 per day.

I think 6 is fine. Puppet guardian is a team game, and I think we should make it so you CAN'T solo towers. With Ocean Book coming out as a solo game, I think it will be easier for people to play without others WITHOUT decreasing the team orientation in Puppet Guardian.

The dice rate should be based on active player count; the less players the more dice and vice versa.
People probably quit based on the soul reason of no more dice. You can go through 99 dice easy on your first day, then you're left wondering why you did that because now you're screwed. The game is over for a few days until you accumulate maybe 18-24 dice. I also noticed that getting healing stuff is really hard in the beginning, 1 hp dot and decreasing dice sure does discourage me.
*EDIT* I've decided to quit playing this because there were lots of people on and no one would even help me with a simple question. Hope my input helps. Goodbye.

Agree, its too low. Unless PG has 5001000 active players, 6 new dices is low.
Can be about 10 a day perhaps.

Hey Folks! Thanks for all the votes and especially your comments on this Forum and also in the game (about dice).
After considerable discussion, we have decided that we need more activity in the game and one way to achieve this is to increase the dice “regeneration” rate. So we are upping it to one dice per hour or twenty-four per day. The current rate is six per day.
Although, the purpose of the low dice regen rate was to get people to “party” with each other, we feel that the goal of increasing activity is the most important one for now. The promotion of collaboration, friendship, and team-building are primary objectives of the game’s designers, but they have agreed that without more daily activity, including among “Apprentice” players, these goals cannot be reached. So we are upping the regen rate.
The plan is to implement the increase during this week's Pet Campaign (Thurs 1am Pacific Time USA).

-Its nice that you made 6 dice per day to 24 dice per day ,but i would suggest its to 15 dice per day plus 6 dice per hour that the player logged in(1 dice per 12 min.) when a player is not moving the character for 10 min. he/she will auto-switch to Afk mode (right click, afk) and when the player is afk, the additional 6 dice per hour will be disabled. This way large teams can take turns rolling and have non-stop playing, and prevent large amount of dice from stacking. thank you for reading
