Two questions: Is it a plain zoisite staff? If so, you need to upgrade it to use its magic. If it's not a plain zoisite staff, do you see the color of the zoi magic in the corner of your screen, or is it empty/transparent??

Thanx Lineage and Kwula! XD
But wat does the magic on a Stone Rod do? I remember when i 1st made it the 'Magic' area was transparent, some others and i went to T4 and i still managed to petrify the Boss. (Such a GREAT feeling) XD
Does havin 'Magic' let the Stone Rod do somethin else?

Then um... Wat's the magic point of the Stone Rod for? (Sorry for being such a nuisance. DX) Its for adding magic points. Like when you have a shadow wand its 1 pt + stone rod, 1 pt = 2pts of Zoisite magicIf you have stone rod alone, the magic point is pretty useless. EDIT:Yes, I remember, when you upgrade your Stone Rod(Red Card) into Darkness Staff??(Blue Card), it will have a lower chance of stoning the monster. Just so you know.

Wow! Thanx Jets! But it's kinda weird innit? a Blue Card having a lower chance to stone an enemy? Maybe the creators shld look into it huh? XD

The staff does not exactly have a lower chance of stoning. The only difference is that the staff is much slower than the wand, so you hit the monster at a slower rate. The fewer times you hit a monster, the fewer chances you have to stone that monster. So even though both have a 10% chance of stoning, you will hit the monster faster with a wand than with a staff.
However, the benefits of having a staff are: 1) It's a blue item. 2) You can use both magic and stone with one weapon. 3) Staves have a longer range, so you can stone from further away. 4) Staves are the only weapons that appear in your hand even when you don't have it ready to hit with.
