I'm sure it lasts for more then 2 minutes, but yeah, it should go off by itself after a certain period of time.
Or you could just drink Holy Water, it prevents Stoning.

It shouldn't last more than a minute or two. If it did, consider upgrading your version of Flash. Good advice about the Holy water. Drink it before you take on the Basilisk.

Yeah, if you drink the Holy Water before fighting the Basilisk, he can't turn you to stone with that attack. I found this out the hard way, really. Figured using it while turned to stone would reverse the effect, but it's actually a preventative thing. Haha.

I was using firefox on mac. And I had updated my flash recently (because I wanted to try something that required it) So it couldn't have been due to the flash. Also, the time that happened, other people also had gotten stuck with me.

He turned my parrot into stone, so we got revenge. Though, my parrot and I have had a falling out recently.

I think it's either 10 minutes or you turn back as soon as you kill the Basilisk... And Somar, sorry to hear that you are having parrot-relationship problems. We've all been there.
