I just started playing this game yesterday and I have to tell you, i'm having a blast! In the short time i've been here i have realised just how team orientated the game is. I'm not sure about you guys but I think a ventrilo or teamspeak server for the game would be awesome. Especially at the moment while the community is still growing and it can often be hard to find people. People could plan to meet up even when they are no where near eachother!
Using voice based chat in game would also promote more teamwork. Sometimes on the boss levels its hard to type and fight at the same time. I think it would be great for the players to be able to talk over their plans while they are fighting.
So yeh what do you guys think? Does anyone have a teamspeak or ventrilo server they'd be willing to let Puppet Guardian players use?
I'll try and get a poll running too =)

I expressed my opinion to you in-game already, but maybe others would like to hear it as well, so I'll repost it here.
Do note, that: a) Not everyone has a mic for communication. b) We have a lot of foreign players that can't speak english well, and struggle to write in English. I assume understanding someone talking in English would be even harder for them. They would be left out of the chat because of it, and feeling left out doesn't feel good, I assure you that.
Also, Vent only works when there's a big Team of players grouped, doing certain activities together that require constant communication. And the major issue of the English release of PG is that it's hard to get a big group going. So we should rather take care of that first, by implementing a turnable on/off global chat (so it wouldn't annoy everyone) or an IRC chat to look for groups.
Also the game isn't THAT fast paced, so I'm not sure if it needs a Vent that bladly. ^^;

Can't you just make a server and give everyone the login info?

Global chat should be a first priority , but I know how much easier voice chat can make things when you're trying to play, plus it can be pretty amusing with the right people.

Voice chat is always fun, even if it wouldn't be terribly useful. Personally, I tend to use Skype instead of TS or Vent, since it's set up more like a phone call. But, if somebody had a TS/Vent server they wanted to use for PG, I'd be on it sometimes.
(oh, and if you want to add me on Skype, my Skype name is gravecow)

1. NO VENT! It's a hassel for macs since you need to ask the stupid Admin to change a setting in the setup for you. D: 2. I'd rather Skype. XD 3... That is y input.
I would love to chat with all of you buuuutttt.... It's all very limited, is it not?

Erm.. well.. My laptop have a built in mic.. I have no objections with talkin.. I think skype would do fine.. as for foreign players.. It is possible to make a channel for foreign players.. I most probably will be able to understand what the jap players speak.. but replying would be kinda hard..
